Nepal’s earthquake

Nepal’s earthquake

On the 25th April 2015 Nepal suffered extensively as a result of the extremely serious Gorkha earthquake with its hypocentre some 15,000 metres below the surface.

Such an upheaval is almost unimaginable; a natural disaster where the human death toll has as yet not been finally determined. With villages buried and towns completely destroyed the Nepalese people are in desperate need of help.

Through the charities the Humanist Fellowship support we are able to provide some financial help; with additional funding being given to the SOS Children’s Villages Emergency appeal http://www.soschildrensvillages.org.uk/news/nepal-emergency-appeal there is however no short term fix; so in whatever way you might be able to help please do so; thank you all very much.
