Laura Dolan

Laura has been conducting wedding ceremonies since 2008 so has a wealth of experience and has loved every minute of it.  Whether small intimate groups or grand affairs, both indoors or out, it’s a great privilege to be involved in the most important day of people’s lives, helping make it a truly special and memorable occasion.  Laura will help shape meaningful, personal tributes. Celebrating that someone lived and was loved is an important part of their life. Each person’s unique experience of life leaves enduring memories with us. Sharing their story – the happy memories as well as the foibles – in a dignified, honest and even humorous way can be genuinely uplifting. Laura enjoys helping people to mark significant life events and will be pleased to create personalised ceremonies for all occasions. Based in East Lothian, Laura is happy to undertake ceremonies in the Lothians and Borders as well as further afield around Scotland where there are so many beautiful and inspiring locations. Living by the seaside, she will gladly conduct wedding ceremonies on the beach or in territorial waters. Laura currently enjoys a creative and colourful mix of work in the arts and crafts world, having previously followed a career in law and government. She has the pleasure of bringing skills drawn from speaking at home and abroad to shaping unique ceremonies and tributes. Contact Laura on 07761 485842, via our contact page or email at laura @

What people have said about my weddings

Funeral Testimonials

We have had many lovely comments from friends and family who thought the service was the nicest, most personal and heartfelt they’d ever seen so thank you again for giving Dad the send off he’d have been proud of.

Funeral for Sevi

Thank you for arranging and delivering such a lovely service. Your sympathetic and attentive approach to planning the service were a great help to us in creating an event that was a fitting tribute to a wonderful person; the manner in which you conducted the service struck the balance between acknowledging her loss, celebrating her achievements and the joy she brought to others. Whilst this is very much a personal thank you from us, I do want to let you know that everyone we have spoken to who attended the service has said how impressed they were with the content and presentation.
