  • Aswanley

    At Aswanley, we have created an unusual Scottish wedding venue suitable for both sumptuous wedding receptions and intimate family gatherings. The wedding venue consists of the grounds of Aswanley, a sixteenth century fortified house and the impressive restored Victorian barn, known as a ‘steading’ in the local Aberdeenshire dialect.

  • Banchory Lodge Hotel

    Banchory Lodge is the perfect romantic wedding venue in Royal Deeside. We can cater for civil ceremonies and civil partnerships in our beautiful function suite overlooking the River Dee. A door leads from the suite out onto our beautifully manicured lawns right by the river and provides the ideal setting for drinks and photographs.

  • Castle Fraser

    Set in open woodland just 16 miles from Aberdeen, the National Trust for Scotland’s Castle Fraser provides an idyllic setting for your wedding. Venture to the top of the Round Tower or across to the beautiful Walled Garden for spectacular photo opportunities. The Great Hall, with its large, open fireplace and high barrel-vaulted ceiling, is bright and spacious, providing a magnificent setting for ceremonies of up to 100 guests, receptions for 70 and evening dances for 90.

  • Coo Cathedral

    Coo Cathedral, a relatively new wedding ceremony and reception venue in Aberdeenshire, situated on the grounds of Aboyne Castle.  This is a truly unique venue that can be made to be anything you want of it.  As its name indicates Coo Cathedral is a former cows barn, which still has many of its original features including the beautiful large wooden beams.

  • Drum Castle

    Set amidst an ancient oak forest on the edge of Royal Deeside, the National Trust for Scotland’s Drum Castle provides a wonderfully intimate venue for your special day. The beautiful 16th-century chapel, nestling in the castle grounds, can seat up to 45 guests for a religious ceremony. Alternatively, the magnificent Library, with its large vaulted ceiling and rich wooden bookcases, provides a romantic setting for civil and religious ceremonies for up to 70 guests. Receptions for up to 50 can also be held in the elegant Dining Room.

    It is difficult to imagine a more magical setting for your wedding than a stunning 19th Century Scottish castle, hidden away in a wild woodland glen. Classical and elegant, the magnificent neo-gothic Drumtochty Castle has stood on the southern edge of Drumtochty Forest since 1812. We invite you to enjoy the castle exclusively, in an atmosphere of privacy and luxury for your entire wedding weekend.

    The National Trust for Scotland’s Fyvie Castle is a romantic vision of towers and turrets set in beautiful parkland with its own private loch. Adorned with a fabulous art collection, the castle’s interconnecting Drawing Room and Gallery provide a spectacular setting for ceremonies and dinners for up to 120 guests. From the castle a short stroll leads to the Racquets Court, a glass-roofed pavilion – perfect for evening receptions, ceilidhs and dances. The Preston Tower Apartment also has accommodation for up to 17 guests.

  • Haddo House

    The National Trust for Scotland’s Haddo House, 19 miles north of Aberdeen, is a grand Georgian mansion set in a beautiful country park. Elegant and romantic, the rooms within the house offer great flexibility for your dream wedding. Choose from the Chapel or Library for your ceremony before enjoying a drinks reception in the graceful Drawing Room or glorious Terrace Garden. The Library also offers a luxurious space for receptions with up to 80 guests whilst the Canadian Hall can accommodate larger receptions for up to 160.

  • Leith Hall

    Located just 7 miles from Huntly and surrounded by rolling Aberdeenshire countryside, Leith Hall is a 17th-century Scottish tower house provides a wonderfully intimate venue for your wedding day. The opulent Music Room, filled with family portraits and a grand piano, provides a romantic location for weddings ceremonies for up to 40 guests and receptions for up to 32. The walled garden, an oasis of colour and fragrance also provides a beautiful location for outdoor weddings and stunning photography.
