Auchen Castle is fully licensed to host Civil, Religious, and Humanist wedding ceremonies, same sex marriages and wedding blessings. Nestled within 34 acres of private gardens and woodlands, Auchen Castle wedding venue offers total privacy and a complete tranquil experience to its guests.
Nestling in the heart of the picturesque coastal town of Kirkcudbright, Broughton House, once home and studio of ‘Glasgow Boy’ E A Hornel, is today a unique and romantic venue for wedding ceremonies. Exchange your vows in the gracious surroundings of the Gallery or in the enchanting secluded garden. Afterwards enjoy drinks and canapés in Hornel’s original art studio or take a stroll through the lush Japanese-style garden.
Castle Kennedy Gardens
Castle Kennedy Gardens extend to 75 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds. They include the romantic ruins of 14th Century Castle Kennedy at one end of the Gardens and the 19th Century Lochinch Castle, home of the Earl and Countess of Stair, at the other. Lochinch Castle is an historic listed building and the grounds have heritage status. The Castle, its gardens and grounds can be exclusively yours for the day of your dreams.

Mull of Galloway Lighthouse is located at Scotland’s most Southerly Point in Dumfries and Galloway. We can now offer small intimate wedding ceremonies at the top of the Mull of Galloway Lighthouse as well as other locations at the lighthouse.

The Cocoa Bean café area transforms into a fantastic wedding venue, decorated from scratch for every wedding. It’s a bespoke wedding venue without the price tag, so whether your tastes are contemporary or classic, traditional or unique, it can be decorated in keeping with your colour schemes and preferences. There is also a luxury marquee for summer weddings.
A garden paradise on the outskirts of Castle Douglas, Threave’s world-famous gardens, Victorian country house and Terrace Restaurant combine to offer an idyllic and flexible venue for your wedding. Ceremonies and drinks receptions can be held anywhere within the gardens – simply choose your favourite spot! For intimate receptions the house can hold dinners for up to 40 guests whilst the Terrace Restaurant can accommodate dinner and dances up to 120. For larger weddings a marquee can be erected in the grounds.
