In Life Funeral Ceremony Preparation

The Humanist Fellowship of Scotland believes that it is important the Funeral Ceremonies we prepare reflect the wishes, not only of the family and relatives, but acknowledge the wishes of the departed. To do this we help those who for various reasons wish to make advance funeral ceremony planning.

To assist in creating the ceremony of your choice, one of our Celebrants meet with the individual and family/friends to discuss preferences, to make suggestions, to record specific wishes and to format the ceremony.

Often those who wish to donate their body to Medical Science, opt to have a Memorial Ceremony whilst those who choose a private cremation, may request an Interment or Scattering of Ashes Ceremony to be conducted at a specific location.

In Life Funeral Planning leaves a lasting record of your choice.

Note: When arranging a Scattering of Ashes it may be necessary to obtain any necessary permission from land owners.
