Humanist Fellowship Spring

The past few months have proved to be a very busy period for all within the Fellowship and the development of the web site is progressing well. We have just launched our wedding venues pages which we hope will make your search for your perfect wedding venue an easier task.

At our recent AGM we are happy to announce the decision was that all fees will be frozen at their current levels for the forthcoming 12 months

Graham Duff’s initiative of allowing your wedding guests to send us their favourite snapshot and memories from your wedding will allow us to gather and collate these memories for you and thereby provide an album of outtakes for your perusal.

We have been delighted at the response to our humanist weddings and bookings have surpassed our expectations for the period.

Likewise we have been there for many families who have recently experienced bereavement. Conducting Humanist funeral ceremonies is an important part of our work and we are pleased to be able to offer our services.

Laura Dolan has managed to give her wood working tools a break; her artistic talents are there for all to see if you pop into Wishing Wood Instead she has been applying her legal mind to our involvement in the consultation process about the Marriage and Civil Partnership (Scotland) Bill. She will be publishing something about this here in our web site later this month.

Hopefully as the weather seems to be changing, Spring is here and everyone can at last look forward to their out door pursuits; perhaps I won’t get blown off the golf course this month!
Enjoy the freshness and colours of Spring.
